Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: July 11, 2025

We understand that travel plans may change. This policy outlines when refunds may be issued for bookings made on MyTourMate.

1. Traveler-Initiated Cancellations

  • 100% refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before tour start time.

  • 50% refund for cancellations made 24–48 hours before.

  • No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour or in case of no-show.

2. Guide-Initiated Cancellations

If a guide cancels:

  • You will receive a full refund

  • We will assist in finding a replacement guide if requested

3. Quality-Related Refunds

If a tour was misleading or unsafe:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of tour completion

  • Provide evidence (photos, screenshots, message logs)

  • We will investigate and may issue a partial or full refund

4. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow 7–10 business days for processing

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Personal dissatisfaction not due to safety or quality issues

  • Late arrivals or no-shows

  • Violations of platform policies
