Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Please follow these safety measures while using MyTourMate.

1. Guide Verification

Every guide is required to:

• Submit valid government-issued ID

• Pass a basic background and manual profile check

• Comply with local laws and platform rules

However, users must use their own judgment and discretion when engaging in tours.

2. Initial Meetups

• Always meet in public, populated areas first

• Avoid isolated or private places for initial meetings

• Share your itinerary with a trusted friend or family member

3. Communication

• Keep initial communication within the app

• Don’t share personal phone numbers or social handles too early

• Report inappropriate behavior immediately

4. Emergency Action

If you feel unsafe:

• Leave the situation and move to a public area

• Contact local emergency services

• Report the incident to MyTourMate

Note: MyTourMate does not provide emergency response or surveillance.

5. Inappropriate Behavior

Any form of:

• Sexual advances

• Harassment or physical intimidation

• Disrespect toward cultural or religious boundaries

…will result in immediate account suspension and investigation.

6. Health & Hygiene

• Follow local health protocols (COVID or otherwise)

• Practice basic hygiene when meeting people

• Respect others’ comfort zones

7. Reporting Issues

Use our in-app report feature or email us at support@mytourmate.com to report:

• Suspicious profiles

• Harassment or abuse

• Misinformation

We take all reports seriously and will investigate thoroughly.

• The platform cannot monitor or guarantee your safety

• You use the platform at your own risk

• We are not liable for theft, assault, injury, death, or emotional harm
